A giant photograph of music fans at Glastonbury could become the most-tagged image ever.
The 1,300 megapixel photo was taken while the England-Slovenia world cup match was being screened on a big screen at the Pyramid Stage.
Festival goers were then asked to ‘tag’ themselves and friends on the Orange GlastoTag website using Facebook.
Users are able to zoom in, out and around the image with a full 180 degree view and can spot people at the back of the field up to 300 metres away.
More than 3,000 people have already been tagged out of an estimated 70,000 who can be seen in the panoramic photo.
“This is not only an opportunity for Glastonbury festival-goers to record their participation in this landmark event, but also to be part of a world record attempt as Guinness World Records have officially acknowledged this as an attempt to set the world record for the Most People Tagged in an Online Photo,” says Orange, the festival’s communications partner.
